People Project Manager III (Ops - Riot U)

The Riot University Project Manager will lead end-to-end project management and execution of all aspects of the foundational and future-state delivery of Riot University. This role will support the Senior Manager, Riot U Strategy & Ops driving execution of major projects and initiatives that operationalize and sustain Riot U’s strategies and infrastructure. Initial projects include supporting founding activities including leadership engagement, ritual planning & support and onboarding and decision making preparation and followup materials. Future projects include progress on and management of Riot U’s roadmap as it pertains to sustaining operations, governance, platform, content, communications and change management. Throughout the development and operating lifecycle you will ensure to deliver on the goal of welcoming, engaging and supporting the leaders, partners and customers of Riot U.
Responsibilities:
- Establish processes and delivery methodologies to ensure program goals are accomplished, deliverables are executed and timelines are met
- Project plan and drive execution to support the following:
- Identification and development of Riot U infrastructure components to implement, operationalize and sustain Riot U
- Identification and development of Riot U structures, processes and practices in support of Riot U, the Dean of Riot U and other Riot U leaders and learning partners
- Develop ways to measure program efficacy and success using data. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Report on program performance, ensuring program achieves milestones against its objectives and report on programs generally to stakeholders
- Identify and manage program-level risks and issues
- Organize program-level planning, communication and team member rituals
- Maintain partner relationships, providing visibility into work streams
- Engage and liaise with Riot functions in support of the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Riot U’s learning platform components -- including IT and Engineering resources, People Central L&D team, People Shared Services Team, Internal and External Riot Communications resources and the Enterprise Corp Ops and PMO teams
- Develop, manage and track progress of Riot U plans, roadmaps, timelines and budgets and ensure that Riot U programs are delivered successfully
- Coordinate and execute tasks as needed for contracting, budgeting and paying vendors and partners and other related tasks
- Work closely with the People Central L&D team to ensure resources are collaborating effectively with Riot U programs
- Change management: Act as a change agent and effectively utilize change management methodologies when deploying solutions and processes. Partner with Internal Communications to develop engaging and high impact communications.
- Liaise with external vendors on Riot U infrastructure and learning programs as needed in support of Riot U goals
- Support the coordination and follow up of short, medium and long-term strategy and operational planning sessions to assist various stakeholders in reaching decisions on behalf of Riot U
- Coordinate and execute tasks and projects as needed for Riot U and the Riot U team
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of project management experience in a similar role at a fast-growing tech company or consulting/professional services organization
- Exceptional project management skills with experience running complex, global programs
- Strong attention to detail and experience communicating and managing change effectively with partners at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of juggling multiple work streams while achieving great results
- Appropriate balance of subject matter expertise and pragmatism of how to apply theory in a business environment
- Critical thinker with the ability to take a data-informed, analytical approach to solving complex problems
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities while driving impactful results
- Ability to build deep relationships and effectively partner cross-functionally and globally
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills; ability to synthesize and present complex insights and recommendations clearly
