About the Role
Wildlife is searching for a Head of People Operations to join our newly formed people team. As our Head of People Operations, you will lead a team that optimizes people processes, systems, and tools to operate seamlessly as we scale.
The People Operations team will oversee the HR tech stack and continuously iterate on our processes to improve the employee experience, and increase the overall efficiency. You will set up metrics to track all People Operations programs, and use this data-driven approach to recommend new initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the ideal candidate is an influential operations leader with proven success in high-growth startups, and will play a key role in shaping Wildlife Studio’s people strategy.
What You'll Do
- Build out the People Operations team to support Wildlife through global expansion
- Organize and lead the team to provide day-to-day People Operations support including troubleshooting issues; serve as the escalation point for process and systems issues
- Leverage our HR Systems to reduce administrative burden and improve people data integrity
- Create and maintain process documentation for all People Operations processes and provide training to team members as applicable; Develop business process models and complete workflow analyses
- Develop and maintain HR knowledge base to enable employees to self-serve and find their own answers to HR questions
- Partner with legal to ensure that all global people processes are compliant with employment-related regulatory compliance
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions to drive continuous improvement
- Build a metrics driven organization that leverages reporting, dashboards, and SLA tracking to provide actionable insight on service delivery, operations accuracy, and effectiveness
What You'll Need
- 10+ years experience in HR/People Operations, preferably in a tech start-up environment
- Experience managing people, preferably 7+ years and global management experience a plus
- Experience designing, implementing and scaling systems and processes in a fast paced environment
- Experience leveraging Human Resources Information Systems to achieve growth at scale while providing a great experience to employees
- Superior problem solving capabilities and judgment
- A knack for analytics, and a passion for using data to drive decision making
- Exceptional project and change management skills
- Knowledge of complex tax, legal, compensation and immigration issues related to people operations is a plus
