About this Role
The People Team is focused on creating an environment and culture that enables, engages, and cultivates employees throughout their journey as a member of the Playco team. As a global company, we must ensure that employees in every location have the support and resources they need so that they can focus on how they best contribute to our vision of bringing the world closer through play! This role will help build the foundations of our HR and People Operations programs and processes. You work well independently as well as collaboratively, have strong communication skills, and ample project management experience. You have had a focus on training and development and are equipped to help assess staff training needs. You'll have a direct impact on the employee experience at Playco!
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery and effectiveness of multiple core People processes and responsibilities, possibly including: Policy Creation and Management, Learning & Development Programs, and Performance Management.
- Research, pitch, and build scalable People and culture programs.
- Organize company events.
- Contribute to building, supporting, and coordinating DE&I initiatives and programs.
- Create and maintain workflows, ensuring thorough and up-to-date documentation of HR team’s processes to support team member training and development.
- Improve efficiency and communication throughout the team.
Requirements
- Experience working in People Operations or Human Resources, preferably at startups and/or technology companies.
- L&D - Experience evaluating employee and manager training needs and rolling out successful training programs.
- Ability to design People solutions at scale, with a focus on empathy and efficiency.
- Strong project management skills with ability to drive and collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be flexible and comfortable working with ambiguity and frequent changes while maintaining excitement about building the foundations of the company’s People programs and processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Success working on a fast paced globally distributed team.
