Our People Operations team is looking for a Sr. Manager, People Operations and HRIS systems to drive execution of MZ’s operations programs, own and support the Workday application. This person will serve as a leader responsible for a wide range of critical work streams, including onboarding/offboarding, data management, Compliance and operating procedures. This role will also be responsible for day to day ownership and support of Workday impacting Absence, Benefits, Performance Management, Time Tracking, integration, data requests, and all reporting and data analysis.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the HR Operations Team that support processes for employees and contingent workers across areas including onboarding/offboarding and employee data changes
- Inspire the Operations Team to deliver streamlined employee and manager experiences
- Maintain a continuous improvement lens on centralized operational efficiencies for HR
- Drive, project manage and provide training to team around Workday functionality
- Day-to-day management of Workday including oversight of business processes and integration
- Understand HR strategy and processes to architect, develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to business needs.
- Conduct working sessions with users to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
- Responsible for system configuration, data auditing, system maintenance and quality control for the systems required for Human Capital
- Manage and maintain Workday security configuration, in conjunction with third party post production support
- Manage Workday releases, including testing and communication of new features and functionality
Your background and who you are:
- Experience with Workday platform supporting HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, Absence and Time Tracking.
- Ability to design HR solutions at scale, with a focus on customer service
- Highly inspiring and energetic leader who can influence the team to provide highest level of customer service through coaching, teaching, and sharing feedback.
- Strong project management experience with ability to drive cross functional teams.
- Proven ability to think strategically and to translate strategic directives into tactical initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in performing complex reporting and analysis
- Strong understanding of the Workday’s business process framework, security configuration, and report writing
- Understands HR from a business perspective, can translate requirements and drive the solutions
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users
- Highly organized, team-oriented, and flexible
- Strong analytical abilities to solve complex problems with strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
