Exploding Kittens is seeking to hire a full-time People Operations Coordinator to join our fast-paced and growing team. In this role you will support the Director of Human Resources with all aspects of people operations including hiring, onboarding, off-boarding, payroll, benefits administration and people programs. Our ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, enjoys taking on challenges, and wants a role that will continually evolve as the company scales. In addition, we are looking for someone to bring a high-level of customer service to our team, along with discretion and confidentiality.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Support the Director of Human Resources with all administrative responsibilities related to hiring, onboarding, off-boarding, payroll and benefits administration
- Provide a high level of customer service to all employees by answering questions in a timely manner and escalating issues as needed to the Director of Human Resources
- Coordinate new employee onboarding; first day set-up, equipment ordering, building access cards, parking, and new employee paperwork to help create a welcoming and seamless experience for all new employees
- Manage software licenses such as Adobe, GoogleSuite, Microsoft Office and Zoom and help employees troubleshoot any issues
- Manage electronic employee files with discretion and confidentiality to ensure compliance, accuracy and data integrity, and handle administration for BambooHR, our Human Resources Information System
- Coordinate and execute team building events, all-company meetings, company retreats, and perks programs including employee birthdays and Fun Food Fridays to maintain a fun, inclusive, and engaging company culture
- Update company employee resources such as the Company Directory, Org Chart, Resource Center and Virtual Information Board
- Own the agenda and host bi-weekly all-company meetings, coordinating presentations and announcements
- Assist with interview coordination, to ensure an excellent candidate experience
- Assist the Director of Human Resources with people programs, engagement surveys and other projects as needed
WHAT WE NEED:
- 2 - 3 years experience in human resources, operations or office management
- Experience with interview coordination, benefits administration, and onboarding preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner, and the ability to identify when questions should be escalated
- Self-starter who thrives in a diverse, entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and agile culture; experience at a start-up preferred
- Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and drive process improvement efforts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presentation skills preferred
- Experience using relevant software such as Google Suite, BambooHR, Culture Amp and Lever ATS
