People Operations Coordinator / Employee Experience Ambassador

The People Ops Coordinator/Employee Experience Ambassador at Niantic will be accountable for evolving, elevating and delivering on an outstanding employee experience by leading administrative processes, support systems, being the touch point for support questions, and inspiring, empowering and unleashing Niantics to dream and act big. This role is the hub between our people, processes and technology and an integral member of the team as we develop our operations mentality.
Niantic's People team seeks diverse, exceptional talent in an outstanding and fast paced industry, and ensures that our creative and dynamic culture keeps employees engaged. This role is key to the employee experience and will support and partner with all teams across the People function. This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Evolve and deliver New Hire Orientation - Newantics!
- Partner with People teams gather feedback and build out employee experience programs.
- Central point of contact for all new and existing Niantics through the employee lifecycle - you are the heart of what we do!
- Sustain and update employee files on company shared drive and PeopleIS.
- Triage general inquiries to the People support email.
- Assist with data entry in People systems and partner with payroll to ensure pay data changes are entered accurately and timely.
- Identify, budget for, and order employee swag.
- Maintain and update organizational charts.
- Assist with crafting presentations.
- Assist with employee Handbook and policy revisions.
- Assist with ad-hoc People projects.
- Ownership around background checks for incoming New Hires.
Qualifications
- 2+ years professional experience in a relevant Human Resources or administrative position.
- Learning agility and flexibility.
- Knowledge of human resources processes and standard methodologies.
- Experience with People databases and PeopleIS systems.
- Strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn and lean in.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Good interpersonal, time management and leadership capabilities.
- Solid attention to detail.
