Exploding Kittens is seeking to hire a full-time People Operations Assistant to join our fast-paced and growing team. In this role you will assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the Exploding Kittens LA based office, while providing administrative support to our People Operations team. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of People.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Exploding Kittens office to ensure the office is safe, organized, and operating efficiently, ultimately cultivating a workplace that fosters employee productivity
- Take inventory, and coordinate weekly supply ordering (including groceries, janitorial, and office supplies), ensuring the office is stocked and organized
- Act as the onsite contact for guests and vendors and liaison with the building manager to schedule maintenance, repairs and inspections as needed
- Pick up the mail, and receive and sign for packages, ensuring they reach the designated recipient in a timely manner
- Provide a high level of customer service to all employees by answering questions and escalating issues as needed to People Team managers
- Assist with interview coordination and scheduling, to ensure an excellent candidate experience
- Assist with new employee onboarding: first day set-up, office tours, building access cards, parking, and new employee paperwork to help create a welcoming and seamless experience for all new employees
- Assist with other office related responsibilities, including the coordination of office moves, visits to the storage unit and product inventory
- Assist with other administrative tasks for the People team as needed
WHAT WE NEED
- 2 plus years of experience in office administration, coordination or people operations
- A passion for organization with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
- High-level of customer service, the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner, and the ability to identify when questions should be escalated
- Self-starter who thrives in a diverse, entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and agile culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in our Los Angeles office
