Introduction:
AppLovin is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented People Operations Analyst to join our dynamic People team. We are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of all things people, data, process, policy, and HR technology (especially Workday). You will own critical roadmaps, processes and metrics throughout the employee lifecycle; be a master of reporting and analytics that influences actionable insights and business outcomes; drive improvements, efficiencies and automation that enables AppLovin’s growth and scaling; and ensure our employees, managers, business leaders, and internal business stakeholders get not only the answers they need fast, but awesome data they never even knew they needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support People Operations lifecycle activities such as new hire onboarding (including I-9 processing), payroll/benefits enrollment, employment verification letters, unemployment requests, internal mobility, and offboarding
- Provide first line of support for ad-hoc inquiries sent from employees through our ticketing tool and provide seamless support, responding to questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and metrics to track key HR performance indicators and identify actionable insights to support HR initiatives and business objectives
- Partner with stakeholders to analyze and interpret people data to identify key insights and trends related to workforce planning, employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, and other HR areas
- Support regulatory compliance filings or audits as needed: Multiple Worksite Reporting, EEO-1, CA Pay Data, SOC II, etc.
- Drive data integrity by performing audits for supervisory org, open positions, employee info from subsidiaries and remediating any data anomalies
- Maintain and streamline internal and employee facing People (HR) training materials, policies, and process documentation and ensuring these are current, accurate, and in compliance with government regulations
- Assist with cyclical HR programs such as open enrollment, performance management, and annual compensation planning
- Participate and contribute to proactive review and implementation of process improvements through upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation and overall performance of Workday
- Work with global teams across varying time zones across our APAC, EMEA and Americas locations
Your background and who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of People Operations, HRIS, and/or People Analytics related experience
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM, related modules, and report writing; Workday certification a plus
- Advanced experience with spreadsheet functions in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suite (ex: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience implementing processes that scale
- Have strong customer service skills and respond promptly to employees, managers, and other stakeholders
- Excellent follow through including proven experience navigating ambiguity and being able to pivot quickly as priorities change
- Capable of supporting multiple processes and ability to remain composed with a high volume of activities
- Manages confidential and sensitive information while adhering to strict data privacy standards
AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
Bay Area pay range
$92,000 — $141,000 USD
