Activision is looking for a new player in our People Experience organization who will lead an exceptional onboarding experience for the People organization! We are seeking a People Onboarding Experience Specialist with experience and passion for driving meaningful player experiences as they onboard into their new People role. This role will also be championing key engagement initiatives that sustain a thriving culture that will excite and unlock the true potential of all our People! Our People Onboarding Experience Specialist will create onboarding and engagement experiences that promote Activision Blizzard’s commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture, as well as keep our promise to live by our values ensuring every candidate and employee feels, well supported, warmly welcomed, and ready to contribute on Day 1.
Responsibilities
- Build, launch, operationalize a continuously improve a thoughtful and engaging onboarding and engagement program for how we bring new people to the People organization
- Partner and collaborate with the hiring manager to collect all the necessary information their new hire will need to get acclimated to their new role
- Construct customized onboarding packages that help navigate the People organization that provides key information about the company, organizational structure, our different brands, franchises and studios, and a schedule of key partners they will meet during their first few weeks
- Coordinate with our IT partners to ensure all newly hired People professionals have all the tools, technology, access, and knowledge they will need to quickly become productive and successful
- Lead the coordination and management of the compliance and correspondence of new players to the People Organization
- Partner effectively with key New Employee Orientation stakeholders.
- Respond to internal or external onboarding-related inquiries.
- Perform onboarding-related projects, research, and deliverables as needed to support the Global Onboarding Team.
- Set goals and metrics to measure the success of the onboarding program for People professionals on the time to productivity and overall experience
- Identify and build out surveys or other data gathering techniques to capture new hire sentiment as well as the ease of burden on the hiring manager for onboarding their new hires
- Serve as a resource to departments in the People organization on various onboarding issues
- Identify and collaborate on talent acquisition and hiring process improvement initiatives
- Assist with other Talent Acquisition duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 2 or more years of Onboarding, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Operations, or related fields within HR
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Workday, Workday Recruit, ServiceNow, Rooster and/or Eightfold
- Ability to quickly form relationships across departments and work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable learning technology and on-demand learning to enhance, support and track the onboarding experience
- Experience collaborating across the organization and influence partners to achieve results
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced ever changing environment
