People Experience Business Partner

This role is a combination of tactical and strategic activities requiring a professional who can build trust and confidence in the Amber US team, in order to embed holistic approaches to people experience development and management. The main focus of this role is on managing and implementing organizational processes and practices aligned with our US local business needs.
Main responsibilities include:
- Partners with the local US leadership team to identify and implement proper solutions related to hiring & staffing, succession planning, performance management, growing people capabilities, retention, people experience policies &procedures, labor working legislation, compensation & benefits, staffing & legal issues, termination, diversity and inclusion, people engagement & wellbeing.
- Support our local leadership in fostering a progressive culture by engaging and motivating people.
- Participate together with local leadership team in creating local people strategies and plans to deliver an effective workforce planning process which supports Amber US local objectives & results.
- Oversees the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and connecting their role to the overall vision and strategy of the company.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.
- Work together with Global TA team to implement TA strategy at local level, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains talent.
- Identifies internal development opportunities for employees, together with the local leadership team; works together with L&D global team to implement a coherent L&D strategy at local level.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; designs & periodically reviews local policies and practices to maintain compliance with local legislation.
- Contributes to operational excellence of the People Experience group by continuously improving process efficiency & communication between stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the US
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
