Scopely is looking for a People Coordinator to join our People Team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis working 2 days a week from the hub.

What You Will Do
The People Coordinator enhances employee experience and organizational efficiency by managing HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HR systems and data integrity.
They ensure compliance with labor laws, support HR projects, and act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Reporting to the Business Partner or Senior Business Partner, this role supports the execution of the People Strategy and day-to-day operations.
- Support for PBP Team by assisting the divisional PBP as needed, including updating relevant content on Scopely’s intranet and arranging and coordinating People Team events within the division
- Ensure Workday and compensation programs data integrity through regular audits
- Generate HR reports to support decision-making
- Support teams in executing Workday business processes and assist in implementing HR tools
- Enter on-call payments and contractors in Workday
- Oversee probationary and performance reviews, track deadlines, and prepare necessary documentation as well as provide administrative support for compensation programs and track their status (Merit, Promotion, Bonus)
- Support Talent Management and DEI initiatives in partnership with the Experience and Engagement team
- Help efficiently manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, and exit processes as well as coordinate new hire orientations and assist relocated employees in collaboration with the Global Mobility team
- Handle outplacement vendor setup for leavers when necessary
- Serve as the point of contact for employee relations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Oversee legally required training completion.
- Support engagement survey action plans and documentation for performance management and PIPs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain confidential HR records.
- Prepare for HR audits and compliance reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- Familiarity with HR processes and best practices, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and compliance
- Experience managing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and employee changes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, managers, and external partners
- Ability to explain HR policies and procedures clearly and effectively
- Experience participating in HR projects and initiatives
- Demonstrated success in improving HR processes and programs
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools quickly
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR-related software
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets/Excel
- Experience in generating and analyzing basic HR reports to support decision-making
- Ability to manage multiple HR projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure projects are completed on time
