Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll Compliance & Operations, this role will work closely with the Payroll Team based in the US and the People Team based in the UK, with a focus on monthly payroll processing and supporting employees based in the UK and Ireland. The Payroll Specialist assists in all functions of the payroll department, including reviewing employee information, calculating wages, preparing, and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records for our UK office. This role will also act as the primary contact for all employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits for the UK and Ireland offices. This position requires a confident individual with high levels of professionalism and organizational skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will maintain attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks.

What you’ll do
Payroll processing:
- Collects, audits, and enters payroll information according to established payroll cut-off and processing schedules.
- Review all updates from People Team.
- Input of all payroll data including new starters and leavers.
- Work closely with designated payroll service representative.
- Benefits upkeep for new joiners and leavers, auditing of monthly invoices and seeking approval for payment.
Internal customer service:
- Point person for payroll and benefits onboarding new hires from our UK and Ireland offices.
- Time Off tracking and approval in system of record.
- Employee paperwork collection and filing.
- Serves as first point of contact to general payroll, benefits, and HR questions.
Reporting & Administration:
- Accurate data entry in systems of records.
- Employee leaver processing.
- Coordinate with the People Team for any new starter information.
- Assists with end of year payroll processing and reporting.
- HR related projects in administration, operations, employee experience and compliance.
- Other projects as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years payroll processing experience.
- Bachelors degree in a business or Human Resource discipline.
- General knowledge of payroll systems, ADP iHCM2 a plus.
- General knowledge of Excel and Word.
- High degree of integrity while working with sensitive employee information.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
