Payroll Specialist

Your responsibilities:

• Providing subject matter expertise for all pre-payroll and payroll processes and respond to all internal payroll queries
• Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of payroll data to accounting office
• Preparation of employment documentation (employment contracts, annexes and any other HR related documents)
• Cooperation with the external Accounting Office (gradually taking over the duties by developing an internal department in this area)
• Participation and creation of procedures, regulations and internal legal acts
• Searching for opportunities to automate processes to strengthen efficiencies that allow the processes to scale
• Administration of employee benefits
• Conducting personal administration in line with all legal regulations
• Employee Capital Plans support
• Salary payment process (including bank transfers)
• Company accounting and invoice management
• Preparation of remittances of payments for suppliers and service companies

This role is for you if:

• You have minimum 5 years of experience in an independent position in the payroll team or in the accounting office
• You have a bachelor’s or master's degree preferably in accounting, economics, finance or related
• You have gone through the growth process of your organization and you know what challenges are associated with the development and scaling of the organization
• Payroll is your thing, you are passionate about it and you are highly proficient in interpreting new rules and regulations as well as implementing new processes
• You are ready to perform tasks from the entire spectrum - from operational tasks to strategic ones related to the delivery of the entire policy/regulation (First potential projects: Social benefits fund implementation, the Staff Rules implementation)
• You have solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
• You have excellent knowledge of Polish labour law, tax and payroll regulations
• You have practical experience with contracts and invoices verification
• You have got outstanding organizational ability, responsibility with great attention to detail
• You take ownership; end-to-end accountability for resolution
• You have very good English (at least strong B2)
