Payroll Lead

Job Description

The Payroll Lead will have the following responsibilities:

• • ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements (4 collective agreements), company agreements (4 legal entities), local regulations
  • listen to the various Business (4 BD) in order to propose appropriate solutions in line with payroll/time management rules and available tools, while constantly seeking to optimize existing processes
  • be the main point of contact for Finance, Internal Audit and Statutory Auditors, as well as for external partners (Payroll, Time Management)
  • act as the local payroll expert and primary contact for the local HR team
  • guarantee the reliability and proper execution of payroll for permanent and temporary staff.

The payroll scope is France, covering permanent (250) and intermittent (600) employees, with interactions with a Shared Service Center in India.

TASKS

The main tasks of the Payroll Manager will be:

• • Managing payroll (ADP, DV LOG) and time management (Protime) service providers: making recommendations and implementing all improvement solutions, managing customer relations and acting as the main point of contact.
  • Responsibility for payroll and time management software settings and interfaces between the core data system (Workday)
  • Creation and implementation of adapted payroll processes, and development of control and anomaly detection solutions to guarantee data and payroll reliability.
  • Analysis of the needs of business organizations and their transposition into time management and payroll.
  • Providing reports based on all HR databases, ensuring their reliability while seeking to optimize them
  • Providing and sharing working processes with France and India teams.
  • Communication of information required for audits, internal and external controls (statutory auditors, URSSAF, etc.)
  • Interact and collaborate with local HR teams on payroll, personnel administration and time management matters.
  • Supervision of a direct team in France (1 person) and operational coordination of a team based in India (Shared Service Center based in India with 4 people)

In addition to these tasks, the Payroll Lead will be responsible for additional tasks such as executive compensation, monitoring directors' fees, impatriation-related issues, PSE monitoring, payroll tax management, monitoring specific situations (Covid, partial activity, etc.), employee savings schemes, support in drawing up tax returns, etc.

Qualifications

With a minimum of 2 years' higher education, you have at least 10 years' experience in payroll, payroll-adm-GTA project management in an international Group. You will have experience of an offshore "Shared Service Center" environment. Experience in a sector where intermittent entertainment workers are employed would be a plus.

You have a professional level of English, enabling you to communicate easily on projects and with colleagues.

In the course of your experience, you have demonstrated a strong ability to adapt, and a strong sense of confidentiality.

You have already managed payroll for employees on intermittent contracts.
