The Challenge
As a Payroll Associate, the successful individual will play a key role in providing administrative support to the payroll team in the monthly payrolls for the UK, Switzerland, Hungary, Ireland, and Isle of Man. They will also provide support on all payroll matters across our international territories (Worldwide excluding Northern America).
What You’ll Take On
- Organize the Payroll Calendar, checking that monthly reminders are shown in Weekdays and are in time for deadlines.
- Document existing processes and work with the team to approve and publish.
- Work as part of a team to document new payroll processes.
- Assist with P45s, P60s and P11Ds production and communicate to employees in time.
- Communication of the year end incentives and bonus schemes in the Europe and Asian territories
- Assist with the analytics of monthly payroll processing.
- Eventual first point of contact to employee queries relating to payroll
- Working with other stakeholder departments to achieve Project goals
- Assist with Pensions Admin, New Joiners, Preparation of payment files & updating folders with employees pension scheme numbers.
- Supporting projects such as the Payroll processes Alignment, Payroll Communications and Payroll process documentation.
- Supporting payroll team in meeting compliance deadlines.
Day to day:
- Able to move between different projects and keep them moving forward
- Keeping the payroll team organized by managing the Payroll Calendar
- Developing the internal employee Payroll communications
- Developing the internal Payroll process documentation
- Analyzing Data in excel to ensure accuracy
- Meeting Minute Taking
- Updating Monday Project Boards for the team
- Coordinating with other internal departments to problem solve
- Management of Payroll Mailbox
What You Bring
- 3-4 years of administrative experience
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Snipping Tool, Outlook, PDF document handling
- Ability to work calmly and methodically
- Proactive problem solver
- Flexibility, loyalty and absolute confidentiality
- Awareness of own limitations and when to escalate/seek advice
- Hard working and able to handle high workloads/work under pressure during key periods
- Self-motivated, confident, team player, great verbal and written communication skills, interest to work in a creative environment.
