Payroll Assistant (Contract)

Payroll Assistant

Main Purpose of the Role

1. To support the local UK Payroll Team in the management of the UK Payroll for 3-6 months.
2. To ensure changes are made accurately and within the deadlines set each month.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support the UK Payroll Team in the monthly processing of all salary information including, but not limited to;

• Collate data changes from Workday and prepare for entry into the Payroll System.
• Entry of changes into the Payroll System.
• Assist with payroll validations.
• Respond to queries from employees, authorities and managers.
• Additional ad-hoc support to the team as required.

Skills and Knowledge Required - Essential

• 2+ years’ experience in a busy payroll function
• Experience of ADP Freedom
• Experience of Workday (Desirable)
• Good to excellent MS Excel experience

• Strong interactions skills to be able to deal daily with People Experience and Finance managers, and also as this role deals with employees/managers at all levels and in various areas of the business.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
