The Payroll Administrator will manage and coordinate the payroll life cycle for two companies in Dublin of approx. 370 staff members in total. The successful candidate will join the HR team and be the point of contact for pre-processing administration, payroll queries and reporting. This role requires exceptional Excel skills so experience in v lookup, pivot tables etc. is essential.
The role is part-time (3 days per week preferably Monday, Tuesday Wednesday).
While this is a home-based role the successful candidate will be required to be onsite at Keywords Studios Headquarters in Leopardstown from as required (minimum one day per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process monthly payroll files to the company payroll provider
- Point of contact for payroll related queries through the company ticketing system
- Maintain, update, and retrieve data held for payroll on the company's software systems
- Review any approved expenses or overtime pay that an employee may be entitled to
- Update employee records with third party payroll provider of sick pay, pension details, any leave types or new work patterns that might affect an employee’s pay
- Communicate payroll updates to all employees in our Dublin studio
- Identify and execute process improvements and efficiencies where appropriate
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in payroll administration
- Successful completion of IPASS preferred
- Proficiency in the use of the timekeeping systems will be an advantage
- Proven experience working with HR/Payroll systems
- Excellent IT skills, in particular advanced Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work on own initiative
- Demonstrate an ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work with a team as well as with external auditors & providers
