Payments & Compliance Assistant

Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented payments and compliance assistant to join our energetic team. You will work alongside our existing team to execute processes designed to ensure our operations and undertaking safely and effectively, helping to strengthen our position as a market leader and empower in-game creators to build a new profession.

As part of the payments and compliance department, you will learn about and assist with the financial processes associated with our payments platform, as well as supporting our risk and compliance functions with chargeback defense, store reviews and more on the quest to empower in-game creators to build a new profession. This role involves being able to learn and follow a variety of processes using a range of tools and software, assisting various process owners across the department

Responsibilities

• Learn our payment operations processes (tax, reconciliation, payouts etc) and support our Finance Operations Assistant in executing their responsibilities
• Review inbound chargebacks, creating defense documents and handling disputes inline with established processes
• Respond to compliance and payments-related inquiries from sellers through our support system
• Review creator projects to ensure our risk and compliance requirements are met
• Providing overflow/holiday cover to other Payments & Compliance team-members

Requirements

• Previous experience in payments, risk management, or compliance- an advantage
• A passion for the gaming industry and a willingness to learn about the payments & compliance landscape
• Strong focus on accuracy and maintaining high standards
