Role overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the TV & Video business by delivering best of class partnership management to a diverse and global media partner portfolio, with a focus on showcasing the best and most relevant apps and content to PlayStation’s unique audience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain strong direct relationships with a broad portfolio of media partners on platform to drive business KPIs and service engagement growth
- Collaborate with various internal teams on day to day partnership activities including but not limited to evaluation of incoming content and marketing related partner requests, enhanced support of priority content, content policy questions, and development of new partner facing features
- Liaise with Business Development counterpart(s) on pipeline of new app launches, app updates and territory/platform expansions; tracks completion of mandatory Contract Summary Forms by the Business Development team and facilitates the implementation of all contractual commitments
- Facilitate end to end content planning process starting with analyzing partner content roadmaps, grading content submissions, and highlighting key priorities to relevant stakeholders during monthly content calendar review, each in alignment with internal content strategy
- Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships that are in line with internal stakeholder commercial objectives for the partner or which contribute strategic value to the platform
- Keep partners abreast of new features available on platform to maximize platform affinity and engagement
- Analyzes monthly KPIs and content engagement reports for trends/variances to share with execs and uses insights to adjust ongoing partner programming strategies
- Performs deep investigation on partner performance data to derive partner specific insights to share at quarterly business reviews with partners to ensure partner stays engaged and excited about the PlayStation platform
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of partner facing relationship management experience in digital media (SVOD, AVOD, or the likes), ideally on the service or platform side
- Partner management experience must include a deep understanding of commercial deal structure and terms
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including use of pivot tables) and other BI/Reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics and/or Tableau
- Experienced at extracting insights from data sets, setting realistic KPIs/metrics and communicating insights and recommendations using PowerPoint to senior-level executives
- Proficient at multi-tasking in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Team player, detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit, positive attitude, and strong desire for team’s success in a highly competitive industry
Preferred:
- Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.)
- Bilingual - fluent in English and another major European language
- Familiarity with PlayStation’s gaming platform and digital services offered
- Experience working in a national or global company
