Solution Architect - Game Services

Game Services provides a suite of connected services, matchmaking, voice chat, content delivery, and hybrid game server hosting solutions for the world’s biggest games, allowing our customers to focus on crafting phenomenal content for their living games.
Unity is looking for a highly motivated Partner Manager to manage our technical customer-facing team in Korea. You will be the counterparts of our commercially focused Client Partners with a balanced blend of technical expertise, commercial sensitivity, project management, and customer experience skills. Together you will guide prospective customers through our product offerings, best practices, implementation through production, and beyond.
What you’ll be doing
- Be knowledgeable of the constantly evolving ecosystem that is Game Server Hosting
- Analyze challenges, implement tasks, and support key customers in collaboration with sales teams
- Collaborate closely with internal multi-functional partners to facilitate fixes, improvements, or adjustments to ensure customer success
- Proactive in keeping up-to-date with internal systems, processes, standard methodologies and business policies
- Document and communicate customer and sales needs to a wide team on a periodic basis, to collaborate on improvements and new efficiencies
What we’re looking for
- Hosting related or comparable experience, with a deep technical knowledge of server hardware and networking
- Self-motivated, able to work with minimal direction - with excellent verbal and written communication skills, to engage with peers, customers and internal partners at all levels in the organisation
- Lateral problem solver to fulfill the requirements of the customer utilising inhouse technology and quick in identifying problems & brainstorming solutions, helping us to support customers and the Sales Team
- Excellent grasp of the game hosting industry including all various types of hosting environments (for example Bare metal, Cloud, Private Cloud)
- Effective communication in written and spoken English and Korean

- Solid grasp of basic scripting and programming
- Knowledge/experience of the Gaming Industry
- Understanding of game logic, behaviour and associated problems faced by a Game Developer.
