Partner Manager, Game Services

The opportunity
At Unity, we are re-imagining the way online games are built, launched, and operated. Our Game Services division focuses on delivering highly scalable, distributed, real-time services, which emboldens our creators to launch new and engaging multiplayer player experiences with confidence.
As a Partner Manager, you will drive the entire customer journey. From the initial meeting, you will advocate our product portfolio through technical subject matter expertise, helping our team to position each product to our future customers with technical authority.
What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for the technical customer experience from end to end, from initial engagement through to launch and beyond
- Command the technical pre-sales process: collect requirements and expose challenges in existing or conceptional implementations; craft solutions utilizing our outstanding game products; and conduct detailed technical discussions on your proposed solutions
- Integrate customers' technology with Unity products
- Collect critical metrics for Game Services accounts to ensure customer happiness
- Contribute to revenue growth strategy by improving customer retention
- Work closely with internal partners to facilitate fixes, improvements, and/or adjustments to achieve customer success
- Analyze challenges, execute tasks, and support key customers in collaboration with our Client Partners (Sales Team)
- Assist with the growth strategy for customer accounts to improve adoption of existing and new Unity game services products
What we’re looking for
- Strong organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Experience working on Live Services and accompanying technologies
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment and drive meaningful next steps
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills with both external and internal partners
- Technical Background in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Live Services
- Experience in Systems Administration and Scripting
You might also have
- Experience in Solution Engineering or Technical Account Management
- Knowledge of the Video Games industry
- Experience with mobile application development
- Ability to read Code (C#, C++, JavaScript, Golang)
- PMP or other project management certification
- Experience in running large scale projects with long delivery cycles
