Part Time Accounts Assistant (6-month FTC)

Job Description
The role is looking for someone to start immediately and will be an initial 6-month contract. The hours will be 14 hours per week worked over 2 full days, to be negotiated. This position will be office based, within London.
Ubisoft Future Games of London is looking for a part time Accounts Assistant to help support the function’s growing responsibilities. The role will report into the Senior Accountant and be responsible for a range of daily and weekly tasks.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in an accounts function and be comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
A Successful candidate will
- Have possession of a strong work ethic and an eye for detail.
- Be capable of operating autonomously.
- Have the ability to learn new systems and processes and take ownership of tasks.
- Have experience of invoice coding and entry, bank reconciliations and a rudimentary understanding of a P&L.
- Take pride in delivering accurate and timely work.
- Having a genuine interest in and enthusiasm for games would be a plus.
Responsibilities/What will you be doing?
- Managing the Accounts payable function ensuring all invoices are processed on a timely basis and correctly coded
- Reconciling and processing all staff expense claims
- Monthly processing of the corporate card and ensuring all transactions are correctly coded
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Assisting the Senior Accountant with ad-hoc tasks
- Additional tasks may be introduced over time
Skills
- Experience with Excel
- Good time keeping
- Logical Approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience
- Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience
