Paralegal

The Paralegal will be supporting the UK-based Legal Team in all areas, specifically focussing on the preparation and management of contracts and other legal and business documents, together with assisting with the administration of such documents.

The role would be suitable for a gaming enthusiast with a can-do attitude, and the ability and flexibility to work in a multi-national organisation with people from different cultural and professional backgrounds, and who can help bring Bethesda titles to wider audiences.

Responsibilities

The UK Legal Team work on a wide range of matters, to which the Paralegal would be expected to contribute and support. Some examples are:

• Preparing, reviewing and tracking multiple contracts, contract amendments, NDAs and other legal documents
• Managing documents in and out for execution, maintaining records management systems
• Preparing, maintaining and updating contract templates, internal guidance documents and compliance policies in accordance with legislation and case law
• Maintain the lease calendar and alerts for contract renewals
• Assisting with litigation matters and legal research as directed
• Such other duties as may be set forth by the company

Qualifications

• UK or EU law degree is required, additional LPC or Paralegal experience is preferable
• Solid grounding in UK Contract and Commercial Law
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage and appropriately prioritise a busy workload
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Media / Games experience or enthusiasm, with an understanding of current legal issues facing the games industry would be helpful
