Packaging Engineer

This adventurer designs packaging used for tabletop game products. The role works closely with our suppliers to develop products that exceed our game developer's vision and business needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Build sketches, physical prototypes, and CAD (computer aided drafting) models for proof of concept to support alignment on new product development.
- Develop and approve die lines for manufacturing. Validate appropriate die lines are used in association with product components for identified suppliers.
- Support appropriate documentation and archival of all die lines.
- Actively participate in product development meetings and discussions to determine the best ways to build or test new components, problem solve challenges in development or supplier management and continue to improve product.
- Produce detailed technical drawings to communicate design concepts to suppliers and partners.
- Provide input to help improve the product development process.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelors of Science in industrial design, packaging science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated ability in production areas including: 3D CAD software such as ArtiosCAD or SolidWorks, packaging manufacture, and materials selection.
- Proficient with Esko ArtiosCAD or Dassault Systemes SolidWorks.
- Passion for solving problems and bringing amazing products to life.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and multitask.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven track record collaborating with internal and external partners.
- The mentality of a continuous learner who shares knowledge to make others better.
