About our PUBG Universe Department
The PUBG Universe department creates the settings and lore for our beloved IP and presents it to our fans through various entertainment mediums and platforms. The department is seeking a talented and passionate Project Manager to help coordinate the production of our entertainment contents and the development of our lore and visual settings with the aim of expanding our IP.
This is not a position working for game development, but a role within the Universe department focusing on visual development, movies, tv series, graphic novels, and entertainment media in the growing PUBG Universe. Candidates with a diverse background related to games, films, books, or entertainment media is a plus.
Within this department, the Production Management team connects our established lore and entertainment content with various game titles to create a cohesive franchise and maximize the synergy across different products. The team manages the production process and schedule for PUBG Universe’s creative content and handles internal/external communications with various dev teams and creative agencies for alignment.
Responsibilities
- Establish internal milestones for entertainment content such as movies, tv series, and graphic novels with our in-house producers and streamline the internal alignment process between multi-functioning teams
- Project manage the development of our lore and visual settings, working closely with our creative team and external agencies
- Utilize project management tools such as Confluence and Monday.com for day-to-day tracking and manpower/resource management
- Facilitate communication between content producers, writers, publishing teams and our leadership across Korea and the US
- Handle and facilitate internal approvals, contracts, and invoices for each creative projects
- Take initiative to solve problems, pivot and adapt with the evolving needs of a project, and work with producers to set deadlines and expectations for leadership
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a producer or project manager in the gaming or entertainment industry
- Demonstrable ability to create, track, and maintain department schedules and facilitate complicated resource planning across multiple projects and teams
- Knowledge of entertainment properties and project management, including agile frameworks
- Skills to communicate actively, effectively, and succinctly across multiple team members and stakeholders
- English/Korean bilingual
