PR and Social Communication Manager

The opportunity

Unity Technologies, creator of the world’s leading real-time 3D development platform, is seeking a PR Manager to provide strategic oversight and management of all PR activities.

As a PR Manager, you will be responsible for disseminating details and completing the company’s overall public relations strategy in Unity’s key markets. You will handle and coordinate all communications efforts, work with collaborators in key markets to amplify corporate initiatives, product launches, and strategize with those markets.

We’re looking for a hard worker communicator who has the ability to own and architect impactful local campaigns, who can handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can work optimally in cross-cultural teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Responsible for PR and social communication strategy with critical metric of media exposure and social engagement index
• Prepares and/or edits press releases and high-quality, tailored article pitches and talking points
• Sharp to news and customer wins and applies proficient knowledge of current events to identify trends, story ideas and proactively build campaign messages
• Bring to bear media resources including vertical conference organized by media to improve thought leadership of the company in target industries
• Researches and generates media lists, supervises news clips, generates media reports and analyzes metrics to gauge PR/media results

What we’re looking for

• Years of professional PR / social communication experience
• Strong, fast and versatile writer and editor
• Ideal candidate will have existing relationships with IT mainstream media, gaming, AEC, auto and other vertical media reporters;
• Strong social media skills required

You might also have

• Be able to travel based on business request
• A keen understanding of the media landscapes across the country, and be proficient in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
