We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and sit within the KRAFTON, Inc. corporation. From our Amsterdam office, we cover Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS region, and have teams dedicated to Product Management, Esports, Content, Communications, Creative, Merchandise, HR and more. We are also creating a new game here, with a growing development team working on the brand-new IP.
At PUBG Amsterdam, our people are our most important resource. We are currently looking for a highly skilled EMEA PR Manager to join us in our Amsterdam office! As the EMEA Public Relations Manager, you will report to the EMEA Head of Communications to manage and execute communications campaigns that deliver impactful coverage and results across EMEA. In addition to managing PUBG Corporation’s product and esports PR initiatives, you will manage our internal EMEA PR team and work in close collaboration with the broader regional and global publishing teams to help transform organizational goals into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the small EMEA PR team under supervision of the EMEA Head of Communications
- Create and execute regional EMEA PR plans, aligning these with our global KPIs
- Partner with cross-functional regional and global publishing teams to transform goals into actionable strategies
- Serve as a primary PR point of contact for internal teams, external media and partners
- Manage and partner with the EMEA PR agencies for ongoing executional support and reporting duties
- Brief PR materials, including plans, recaps, press distributions, pitch letters, Q&As, fact sheets and proactive/reactive messaging
- Have a deep knowledge and understanding of PUBG, the video game industry and its media landscape
- Obtain earned top-tier coverage by successfully pitching relevant and engaging stories
- Manage reporting and analytics by creating, maintaining and delivering coverage reports and recaps
- Assist in other Publishing & PR activities as required
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in Public Relations
- Game industry experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
- Outstanding interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to work, adapt, and communicate in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment
- Detail-oriented self-starter with a strong team mentality
- Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytics tools
