Operations Specialist (Duel Masters) (Japanese Bilingual Required)

We are looking for a Japanese bilingual Operations Specialist to join our Duel Masters Studio to help us with various aspects of projects related to the brand that is exclusively developed for the Japanese market. This role will function as a liaison between our Japanese partners and the internal teams by coordinating deliveries of products and promotional items, updating product specs, setting up prices, and crafting and supervising the marketing budget. Duel Masters is co-owned with Japanese media companies, and this role connects with multiple contacts in Japan on the daily basis via emails and conference calls.
This person will have strong skills in multi tasking, communication, and customer service. This role needs to build positive relationships with both internal and external partners, understanding and advocating the needs of all the parties involved with the projects.
What You'll Do:
- Set up products in the system after collecting vital information from multiple stakeholders.
- Communicate product specs and prices to the Japanese distributor, and process orders.
- Coordinate deliveries with the internal production and logistic teams and the vendors in Japan.
- Facilitate to solve any issues raised by the distributor regarding deliveries and QC.
- Build plans and schedule for promotional items and track the annual marketing budget.
- Acquire information needed to create packaging from the distributor.
- Mediate payment processes between the company and the partners in Japan.
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in the Japanese culture and workforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication in Japanese and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among the partners and members of other departments.
- Able to manage multiple documents with attention to details.
- Result driven approach.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with consumer products.

Compensation Range
$68,320 — $121,320 USD
