About this Role
Playco is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our US Operations team. If you love leading complex projects and multiple cross-functional partners, and solving problems from both 30,000 feet as well as deep in the details, this is the role for you! Operations Managers are responsible for developing functional business strategies, including financial planning and modeling, such as building and scaling processes, and identifying and correcting operational weaknesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical frameworks and corresponding policies to support the company in decision-making across teams.
- Identify business priorities such as growth opportunities or weaknesses and help drive the team’s strategy and improve or innovate processes.
- Collaborate with Finance and People teams, as well as policy, Legal, Marketing, and Product to ensure that insights inform broader critical initiatives.
- Build, maintain, communicate, and present detailed reporting.
- Execute on regulatory and compliance processes to ensure we meet our legal obligations, including reporting, payments, and audits.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in strategy / consulting / business intelligence/technology or related experience with additional 3+ years in high-growth operations, tech, or startup experience.
- People management experience.
- Data-first problem solver with excellent Excel/data management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and organization skills.
- Strong, demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Experiment and hustle to build quickly. This individual will need to identify and evaluate solutions for short and long-term operational problems.
- Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in Pacific Time or Hawaii Time zones.
