Business Operations & Strategy Lead

Unique blockchain assets ("NFTs") have grown in popularity rapidly over the past few months. These unique assets allow people to own anything from in-game items to digital art to music and financial instruments.

However, they are highly illiquid: transactions take minutes or hours to confirm, and Ethereum can process fewer than 5 NFTs per second for the whole world combined. To solve this problem for ourselves and for others, we have built Immutable X, a next-generation protocol for trading blockchain assets with instant trade confirmation, massive scalability, and no gas fees without compromising user custody. The goal of Immutable X is to help businesses scale their creation and trading of these unique assets (“NFTs”).

We are looking for a Business Operations and Strategy Lead, who will flourish in a constantly changing and ambiguous environment. Depending on your interests and skills you will get the experience that will lead to senior operations, product or commercial roles.

This is the perfect role for someone with a problem-solving mindset with a desire to work in a new and innovative growth industry.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Plan and execute strategies for capitalising on high impact opportunities
• Steer large, cross-functional projects and build consensus with senior leadership
• Participate in strategic activities for the company: Conduct market analysis, help with fundraising, apply for grants, develop actionable recommendations that improve Immutable’s products for all of our users
• Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for the Immutable leadership team
• Deeply understand the drivers of our business and proactively identify ways to improve performance, effectiveness, and efficiency Redesign and automate key processes to improve speed, quality or cost
• Analyze large amounts of information and data quickly and effectively to reduce complexity and make actionable recommendations for Immutable
• Structure teams and identify hires required to achieve objectives
• Provide guidance to team members, peers and senior leadership

You’ll have:

• Interest and willingness to learn about crypto and NFTs
• 3+ years in top tier consulting, investment banking or legal firm (or similar experience)
• Previously been accountable for delivery of a workstream or project and was successful

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

• Management experience
• Crypto nativity Gaming experience
• Operational experience working at a high growth startup and/or tech company
• Operational experience in tech and/or financeExperience with product, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Process improvement experience
