This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner Yoh Services.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.
Local candidates preferred. Please ensure you can commute to Santa Monica, California on a daily basis.
Summary:
Naughty Dog is in search of an adept operations coordinator to perform a variety of administrative duties necessary for a smooth running office. This person would ideally be a strong communicator, proactive, and be able to prioritize tasks throughout their day. This person would be providing support to the team as well as the studio. An ability to organize and use MS office suite is necessary. If you have experience in this type of role, love games, and think you’d be a great addition, we’d love to talk to you!
Responsibilities:
- Front desk responsibilities include greeting visitors and external vendors, managing NDAs, providing parking validations for guests, distributing studio merchandise, and updating relevant spreadsheets
- Answer and screen calls in a courteous and professional way
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail/deliveries
- Upkeep the cleanliness of studio/common areas/front desk area/mailroom
- Responsible for studio office and kitchen supplies, duties can include: inventory management and organization, loading and unloading deliveries and waste management
- Assist with company event planning and studio catering
- Send company-wide communications and handle employee distributions
- Act as liaison with Building Property Management Office by corresponding with their Facilities, Security and Parking Departments
- Perform other clerical/operations duties such as filing, scanning and basic furniture assembly
- Occasionally assist Naughty Dog Marketing/Community Team with special projects
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Requirements & Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively and efficiently disseminate complex information
- Highly motivated, detail and goal orientated, and customer focused
- Confident, energetic and maintains a positive attitude
- Ability to positively influence the culture and operation of the studio
- Ability to address urgent needs in a timely manner, handle sensitive matters with tact and manage confidential information with discretion
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Interest in Operations, Finance, Administration, Communications or Marketing
- Able to lift/handle up to 50 pounds
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in entertainment or software development administration
- Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator Premier/Editing software
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
