Job Description
We’re embarking on an amazing journey together with Lightstorm Entertainment and FoxNext Games to the world of Pandora, developing a new cutting-edge game set on the beautiful and dangerous moon from the prominent Avatar film franchise.
We’re looking for an innovative world builder to join our diverse, talented, and lovely World Design team. As an Open World Designer, you’re a mix of level and game designer but you'll collaborate with multiple teams and disciplines to build an entertaining, memorable, and breath-taking world within a major AAA production.

Responsibilities
- As a point of contact for an area of the game world, you'll collaborate with all other disciplines on various subjects as they relate to the player experience in your area of the game world.
- Designing and building an interesting player experience on a macro level using our in-house game engine – Snowdrop.
- Conducting gameplay evaluations with the team providing feedback and suggestions to help fine-tune and improve the game.
- Identifying ways to improve tools and processes for the benefit of all.
- Be an exemplar of healthy workplace values.

Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:
- Ideally, you've a showreel of your work or credits on games, which demonstrates AAA quality macro-level world designing.
- +3 years professional work experience developing game features from concept to completion, within a major production
- Proficient with various tools and visual scripting to build scenarios and/or features.
- Professional experience with systems-driven games or RPG's is a bonus.
- Experience in other game development disciplines: User Interface, Audio, Art, Engineering is a bonus.
