Online Services QA

Rockstar Games are seeking an Online Services QA to join our Social Club Services team. Successful candidates will work with online services, analytics, game development and the global QA organization to ensure that reliable and high-quality online and backend services are delivered and maintained throughout development.
In this role you will collaborate with engineers to report and reproduce bugs, provide and interpret logs and packet captures, and verify issues in live environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Test functionality for a wide range of online services and extensions of game features utilizing the backend servers for multiple game projects.
- Triage critical bugs to support engineers.
- Fix bugs found during deployments.
- Continuously make improvements to the testing process to make it more efficient and effective.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (preferably technical discipline).
- Extensive experience with bug management, tracking and reporting programs (i.e. TestTrack Pro, JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Experience with black box, gray box, white box and various automation test methods.
- Experience testing software written in at least one of C++, C#, or Java.
- Scripting experience with one or more of Perl, Python, bash, Ruby, or similar.
- Must be self-driven and a team player with a solid work ethic.
- Ability to analyze network packet captures and flag potential issues for NOC Engineers.
- Experience with one or more game titles on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and/or PC is required for this position.
DESIRED
- Multiple years in a Technical QA role with a highly complex and large consumer based software product or online service.
- Software and Game development experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile software development process (particularly Scrum).
- Experience with shared code and use of source control platforms.
- Experience with Perforce and Visual Studio.
- Passion for games (especially Rockstar Games titles).
