Online Programmer (Multiplayer)

As an Online Programmer, you’re part of a team responsible for the quality of the game’s online experience. You help develop the game’s online features, frameworks, and optimize online performance. With your team, you’re preparing the game for launch and supporting it once it’s live, helping ensure millions of players are simultaneously immersed in a seamless and rich game experience with their friends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investigation, design and implementation of online features

• Implement practical and timely solutions that meet the game design and technical requirements

• Integrate online solutions into the game client

• Work as a key part of an agile development team

• Identify potential issues within the code, raise flags and propose solutions

• Keep up-to-date on changes related to online gaming within the industry

• Work on projects of your own initiative through our Innovation Jams

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who’s aligned with our studio’s core values, wants to be part of a collaborative team, and brings the following skills and experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience

• Excellent general programming skills and ideally solid knowledge of C++

• Knowledge about server programming, distributed systems and online services
