Office Services Coordinator, Workplace Operations (Contract)
This position is for a 12-month contract through our staffing partner Yoh with the possibility of an extension.
San Diego, CA (Rancho Bernardo)
Join the Workplace Operations & Real Estate team at our Rancho Bernardo location and be part of a fun, dynamic team working with corporate and studio groups to help maintain our working digs!
Responsibilities:
- Support daily duties/projects as directed by Facilities Lead
- Assist in answering Facilities Group Help Desk items as required
- Monitor Facilities ticketing system
- Perform and complete service orders in a timely manner and ensure client/customer satisfaction
- Maintaining database of employee seating assignments in CAFM system
- Performing, coordinating and documenting employee/department moves and changes
- Maintain aesthetics and inventories of breakrooms, storage rooms, conference rooms and office supplies areas
- Monitor and support vendor service performance and activities
- Support re-cycling initiatives and sustainability programs as needed
- Support a safe work environment; such as directed work for all Fire, ADA and OSHA regulations
- Event and Meeting support
- Conference room set ups; light to medium lifting
- Set up and tear-down of furniture and clearing of rooms
- Support during events with regard to furniture moves, etc.
- Clean up spills and accidents as needed
- Mount and unmount computer and TV monitors; support Media team as needed
- Minor furniture repairs
- Minor building maintenance and repairs
- Workstation adjustments – panel removal; monitor arm installs and adjustments; keyboard platform installations as needed
- Assist with receiving and deliver of large deliveries – TVs, monitors, furniture, etc.
- Coordinate the janitor service, carpet, furniture cleaning and general maintenance requests
- May provide on-call assistance for all department and campus issues
- Additional Facilities-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of facilities experience or similar
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Possess a valid California driver’s license and insurance
- Able to work non business hours and weekends as requested
- Full functional range of motion in all major body joints from reaching, twisting, bending, simple and power gripping, fine and gross motor skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 0-75lbs
- Ability to pull and push up to 0-100lbs
- Ability to work at a variety of heights; climb ladders
- Familiar with the Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Able to communicate with all levels of employees
- Must exercise safe work practices at all times
Desired qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of building standards, OSHA regulations, and technologies a plus. Able to respond to building emergencies and react proficiently and accordingly.
