Your Mission
As Office Manager in our Cambridge office, you will be responsible for managing the smooth running of the UK Games Studio (UKGS) workspaces, equipment, events, and logistics. The successful candidate will also manage relationships with employees, vendors, service providers and will work directly with the London (HQ) central service teams.
Areas of Impact
- Champion our culture and help the UKGS leadership keep our team positive.
- Drive a positive workplace experience for the UKGS across both locations.
- Help UKGS management to integrate new and existing staff into our new studio.
- Facilitate the smooth running of office operations within Cambridge location.
- Facilitate staff requirements for hardware, including non-technical equipment needs.
- Support UKGS internal communications and help us liaise with other teams.
Responsibilities
- Management of the Town Hall event in Cambridge.
- Special event planning (monthly staff socials, hosting events).
- Implement and oversee daily catering program.
- Support the new hire on-boarding program.
- Managing and responding to the queues within the Cambridge related office Jira helpdesk.
- Ordering and maintaining cleaning, kitchen, office and washroom supplies.
- Receive, distribute, and post all incoming and outgoing office mail and packages.
- Request and coordinate any office repairs, shredding, or related business service needs.
- Provide general administration support to visitors and candidates, including issuing NDAs.
- Coordination with the London core IT and office team on furniture and IT orders for new hires and projects/events.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlords.
- Management of the Cambridge office facilities budget.
- Acts as a lynchpin to the rest of the People Operations Global team.

- Able to identify problems and solutions within the UKGS workplaces.
- Responsible for health and well-being of all staff and visitors to Cambridge location.
