What You'll Do
We're looking for an Office Manager (Contract) in our NYC office to oversee most day to day office duties.
In This Role You Will
- Direct visitors, and manage visitor NDA’s as required.
- Handle caller/email inquiries as needed, communicate messages timely and a ssist visitors with accommodations and venue bookings.
- Coordinate catering for the office and other needs for meetings, on-site training classes or customer events.
- Serve as main contact for employees and vendors regarding all local facilities issues and address direct employee requests.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate shipping and receiving of boxes internally.
- Coordinate activities between departments and outside parties
- Oversee ordering of supplies for the office and perform risk and hazard assessments
- Leads Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives for local office, implementing global and/or regional programs as mandated by law or policy
- Implements global and/or regional Facilities programs and policies as required
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
- Strong oral and written skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Extensive experience in most responsibilities as listed above, advanced skills for developing systems and processes for smooth office operations; Ability to multitask and prioritize is essential
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with little direct supervision. Team player with positive attitude toward change and challenges
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with office applications; prior experience with Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, MS Office and Google Docs Experience is an advantage
