The Challenge Ahead:
Modern video games rely on many different services behind the scenes. From matchmaking, marketplace, and social features to anti-cheat detection, leaderboards, and server-side physics calculations. This ecosystem exposes new operational challenges with every new game launch.

In a fast-paced world, access to games should be fast too. Whether it is a quick game over lunch or meeting friends online at a specific time to play a few matches, when people want to play games -- we want to be there for them. Network Engineering will ensure that access to those games will always be there and give the satisfaction of building infrastructure that brings millions of people joy daily. That can only be done with a team of great engineers, some automation, inter-team collaboration and at least a little fun.
We’re looking for a Network Engineer to:
- You will report to the Manager of Network Engineer and help provide daily L3 support for the networking infrastructure, including on-call and war room support. Take direct involvement in resolution of outages with other groups.
- You will provide Network Engineering skills and support for network projects and tasks. You are always looking to improve our environments.
- Responsible for documentation for projects and root cause analysis
- Collaborate and fostering and environment that allows the team to grow and evolve in capability
The next great EA Network Engineer also needs:
- You have experience in network support/operations/engineering
- You have experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- You have experience with TCP/IP, subnets, switching and routing (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- You have experience with Cisco or Juniper devices
- Management and configuration of L4-L7 Load Balancers, SSL
- Programming and automation experience (python, Ansible, etc.)
