Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will be part of the IT Department, responsible for daily operations, support, maintenance, and administration of the Codemasters studios IT infrastructure.
The ultimate objective of this position is ensuring Codemasters studios receive the best value from its network investments, by delivering the network performance, capacity, and availability to exceed our needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Network technical support, diagnosis and troubleshooting for escalated incidents, managing incidents up to final resolution
- Problem management of incidents where the root cause remains unidentified or permanent resolution is not in place
- Technical project support, with regards to implementation of the required network technologies, to meet overall goals and deliverables
- Manage network installations, hardware refreshes and upgrades
- Network maintenance, monitoring and administration, implementation of IOS, firmware, security updates and patches across the network infrastructure
- Contribute and assist to improve network infrastructures, performance, and availability, ensuring the business receives maximum benefit from its investments
- Provide 3rd level technical support services to the Service Desk
- Ensure all procedures are followed in compliance to company policies, with reference to security, network management, and all IT services
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years' IT Network Engineering experience, within scope of internal corporate networks, and public facing internet services
- CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Administrator (or above)
- Desirable JNCIA - Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate or equivalent
- Experienced in firewall administration, desirable knowledge of Palo-Alto technologies or equivalent Cisco or Juniper equivalent technologies
- Experience of configuration of VPN technologies
- Practical experience of network routing and switching, troubleshooting and configuration, in Cisco or Juniper technologies
- Experience of network monitoring, and network management tools
