You will be part of a traveling team responsible for the successful installation and upgrade of Aristocrat systems products. This includes new installations, upgrades, site assessments, turnkey hardware installs and support escalation.
You will be responsible for resolving all network and infrastructure related issues. This will include:
• Aristocrat systems installs and upgrades.
o Participate in project meetings.
o Provide go-live support traveling on-site support as needed.
• Provide sales enablement and PMO support including:
o Onsite customer assessments including documenting findings.
o Provide 3rd party hardware quotes for turnkey installations.
o Perform turnkey installations including partial or full infrastructure build outs.
• Escalation point for Level 3 Support (for infrastructure related issues).
o Including remote and onsite support (as needed).
We are looking for self-starter that can adapt quickly to new environments and is willing to travel. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in networking as well as adjacent technologies including servers, storage, virtualization, and security.What You'll Do
- Subject matter expert on Aristocrat networked products.
- Including connectivity and communication between Aristocrat software applications.
- Translate application requirements into infrastructure requirements.
- Design, install, configure, and support networking solutions:
- Using Cisco, HP, Dell, Extreme, Brocade and others.
- Configure hybrid networks using switches from different manufacturers.
- Adhere to Aristocrat best practices and customer/jurisdictional requirements.
- Design and implement vLAN and IP schemes.
- Design and implement Layer 3 design.
- Design, install, configure, and support virtual server (VMware) environments:
- Lift and rack servers, blade servers, SAN/DAS, and converged hardware platforms.
- Install and configure ESXi 5.x & 6.x on host servers.
- Configure SAN / DAS storage as ESXi shared storage.
- Attach SAN / DAS with various transport technologies.
- Including FC, FCoE, iSCSI, and SAS attached.
- Present and map storage to virtual environments.
- Configure ESXi Standard Switching.
- Deploy virtual machines.
- Create templates for Windows Servers (2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016)
- Deploy templates as needed for Oasis360 environments.
- Create VMs for Ubuntu applications.
- Design, install, configure, and support network services including:
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and NTP
- Design, install, configure, and support firewall installations using:
- SonicWALL, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and other firewalls.
- Support both perimeter and zero trust security models.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or its equivalent experience.
- Certifications are a plus including: CCNA, CCNP, VCP, Microsoft (various).
- Requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a related technical role.
- Casino operations experience a plus.
- Experience in a 24x7 production environment a plus.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and require little direction.
- Must be able to act as team leader and redirect workflow appropriately.
- Proven customer relation skills.
- Must have strong analytical, problem identification and problem-solving abilities.
- Travel around 50% required.
- Licensing: Must be able to obtain gaming license in all jurisdictions that Aristocrat operates in including registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).
