Network Administrator

Job Description
The Network Administrator is responsible for the health and operations of our telecommunication platform. He will also contribute to the execution of various projects and will act as a second level support for the Ubisoft worldwide network (including 7/24 pager support). The scope includes the global management of our network devices, as well as firewalls and VPN technologies.
- Install and maintain various network equipment, including Wi-Fi, switches, routers
- Deploy and maintain Site-to-Site VPN infrastructure;
- Manage company firewalls and their rule sets;
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services;
- Enforce network security policies and procedures;
- Perform proactive network capacity management activities;
- Maintain documentation regarding network hardware and software;
- Participate to the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics as directed;
- Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards;
- Answer user’s query and service requests;
- Advanced troubleshooting of emergency situations on the network, must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required
- Carry out all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Training
- A baccalaureate Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
- CCNP certification is preferred
- RHCE Certification is preferred
Relevant experience
3+ years of experience in network administration in a large organization.

Knowledge
- Oral and written comprehension of English
- Expertise in Cisco switches and routers, and in the configuration of IOS
- Expertise in network technologies, protocols and concepts, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HTTP, FTP, DHCP, SMTP, CIFS, SMB, etc.
- Good knowledge of Linux-based network infrastructure
- Knowledge of iptables on Linux
- Knowledge of configuration management Tools (CFEngine, Chef, etc.)
- General knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of HA and load balancing technologies
- Good knowledge of IP v6 and implementation in Corporate environment
- Knowledge of Cisco ASA
- Knowledge of wireless technologies
- Knowledge of network monitoring tool (Orion, Zabbix, etc.)
