National Account Manager

The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an National Account Manager (NAM). This position is a field based position located at the Client site and will serve as liaison for the Client, contract site security teams, and the security district offices to ensure operational and administrative requirements are understood and met at all levels and locations. The NAM will be focused on providing best in class security, strategic financial solutions, and oversee their team to ensure professional customer-focused services. Administrative duties include organizing and analyzing busines and performance metrics and reporting findings to the Client on a scheduled basis. Additional responsibilities include providing support to the contract security managers, GSOC manager, training and development manager and site supervisors. The NAM will also assist with staff recruiting, build upon a culture of contract security staff engagement, and setting the example of personal commitment to the Client and contract security values.

Main Responsibilities
Specific Duties and Essential Functions
- Ensures contract compliance at all assigned properties
- Identifies security issues and opportunities and recommends solutions to client’s corporate security team
- Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met; quality assurance and contract compliance
- Responds to critical incidents at customer locations
- Provides in-depth client specific training to new on-site managers
- Responsibility for the oversight of Key Performance Indicators designed to meet contractual expectations
- to include; tracking cost savings initiatives US wide and develop Metrics as required
- Develops relationships with local and regional customer contacts
- Identifies and presents industry best practices
- Visit site locations no less than twice a year for auditing and stakeholder meetings
- Manages the delivery of services in conjunction with district teams and Account Managers. Participates
- within industry specific professional organizations such as ASIS, IEAM, etc.
- Ensures all administrative and operational functions including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, and site
- scheduling are accurate and/or issues are resolved quickly
- Ability to conduct in-depth audits and analysis of operational and financial controls relating to the management of
- the account
- Maintains confidentiality of all customer information and data. Keeps records and prepares accurate and timely
- reports, both manually and through automated methods
- Creates annual training plan for the portfolio
- Manages and owns the invoicing process for the entire customer portfolio
- Leads all contract renewal, rebid, and rate increase initiatives
- Creates and manages to an annual overhead budget
- Surveys security officers and leaders to gauge workplace satisfaction
- Inspect site operations
The Ideal Candidate
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
- Ability to qualify and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements
- Must meet one of the following:
o College Degree in Management, Business Administration or any related field
o Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing the customer relations and contract compliance with a large national or regional customer base
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing security operations
- Prior contract security-related project/key account management experience in a multi-location environment with demonstrated ability to deliver efficiencies
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the security and safety industry
