Job Overview
We are seeking for an awesome Narrative Designer to join our core team to provide narrative expertise for an unannounced project. The ideal candidate has experience working on computer games, is passionate about third-person action and shooter games and implementation of narrative-focused system working in close collaboration with game, UX, sound, and video designers. Your duties will be a broad range of elements that include establishing the essential voice and running theme for the plot and characters, building the core dialogue for all characters, contribution to UI, and maintaining story and dialogue integrity through all stages of development.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with company teams and partners to build lore of the product and characters that inhabit it
- Guide VO sessions with actors and advise on voice cast
- Maintain timelines and world cohesion so it stays consistent as new characters and events are added during development and live operation
- Contribute to narrative development of the product including supplementary materials about the game
- Explore and adapt new ways to bring characters to life with a practical approach that blends with gameplay
- Work with many different disciplines throughout the team (Game and UX Designers, Level Designers, Script Writers for video, Community Managers, etc.) when requesting and crafting content to go into these systems.
- Proofread texts, voice lines, scripts and other text and visual materials that different teams and partners produce
- Assist publishing team in creation of outstanding marketing and community materials
What are we looking for?
- 2-3 years writing experience working on PC Games
- You have a passion and knowledge of games in general
- Strong communication skills
- Strong experience writing fictional stories
- Experience in giving voice direction and/or working with voice actors
- Experience working with Confluence or other wiki software to structure narrative information
- Be open to work in international teams

- Be 100% reliable team player who is responsible for the overall quality of game’s narrative.
- Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus
