Job Description

Within the studio, you will work under the direct responsibility of the Creative Manager, in close interaction with the various trades. As such, your missions will be the following:

Participating in the definition of the game's universe and its narrative: characters, places, events (and document accordingly)
Participating in the macro elaboration of the episodes: global movement, stage cut-out
Participating in the writing of the lines of different protagonists while participating in the design of the choices in collaboration with the designer.
Participating in debugging
Representing the game to the various parties: headquarters, first parties, etc.
Collaboration with marketing: textual quality of the assets produced

Qualifications

Passion for video games, creativity, professionalism, autonomy, self-criticism and team spirit will be essential, relying on the following skills:

Must have :

4 years' experience minimum
Native or bilingual in English
Track record for writing the "lore & world bible."
Ability to define the right guidelines for translators + marketing to ensure the quality of translations
Gaming portfolio including both narrative design and pure writing, with a content more oriented towards gaming oriented writing than game design.
Knowledge of Ubisoft's IPs for legitimacy

Nice to have :

Native or bilingual French
A mobile video game experience is a plus
Having worked on "voice over"
