Team
The newly created Voodoo Music Publishing team supports artists in creating new tracks, publishing them on different streaming platforms, and promoting them to music curators and professionals.
Voodoo is seeking a skilled Music Partnerships Manager to spearhead the promotional strategy for artists signed under the Voodoo Music Publishing label. In this role, you will be responsible for raising awareness of our talented artists and maximizing their revenue potential by establishing partnerships across various segments of the music media landscape, including radio, editorial playlists, press, synchronization agencies, streaming platforms, and more.
Your responsibilities will include:
Role
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to promote artists signed under the Voodoo Music Publishing label
- Identify and establish partnerships with key players in the music media industry
- Negotiate and secure favorable promotional opportunities, such as artist features, interviews, on-air streaming, playlist placements, etc.
- Track and analyze the impact of promotional activities and partnerships you are building
- Monitor industry trends and benchmark competitor activities to capture emerging opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly
- Support artists in developing their brand and image, providing guidance on marketing and promotional activities.
Profile
- Min. 5 years experience in music partnerships or related roles in the music industry
- Extensive connections (preferably in the US) with a proven track record of successfully building and managing partnerships with key players in the music media landscape
- Excellent networking, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Hacker mindset: experience & willingness to try innovative strategies
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
- Passion for the music industry
