What You’ll Take On:
- Handle day to day internal and external processes related to license payments and royalties, including collaborating with internal partners, responding to external inquiries, and managing payment processes and related reporting
- Review royalty reports to ensure they are consistent with contractual obligations.
- Research and resolve failed and returned payments.
- Initiate, drive, and implement improvements of license payment processes and reporting.
- Communicate with musicians and manage the execution and processing of Take-Two’s video game related music licenses and agreements
- Other support as necessary for various Music Business Affairs projects.
What You Bring:
- College degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong academic background, excellent critical thinking skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Prior music administration experience strongly preferred.
- Must possess common sense, patience, good humor, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Strong administrative problem-solving skills and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively and reliably under tight time frames in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-player who can multi-task and work well under pressure, with constantly changing priorities.
- Perform technical and clerical tasks that require accuracy and strong organizational skills.
- Professionally interface with all levels of the organization, clients and vendors.
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the videogame industry.
- Must be Internet savvy, computer proficient and able to quickly learn new software applications.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
