RAVEN SOFTWARE , developer of numerous award-winning games, including contributions to the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise is looking for a talented and passionate Multimedia Specialist to join our team. The Media Specialist will be responsible for capturing and editing game footage for demos and internal trailers, logging and editing footage into reference reels, and producing motion graphics for pre-visualization.
This is the opportunity to join our highly creative team. You will work closely with and utilize the talents of teams such as Audio, Animation, and Concept Art.
Successful applicants should have a solid background in both motion graphics and media editing. Knowledge of working within game engines to create and capture media content is highly desired.
Job Duties:
- Work with the Creative Director and development teams on all creative concepts and projects
- Work within the game engine to capture and edit game footage for demos and internal trailers
- Collect, log, and edit footage info reference reels
- Animate layered concept art into 2.5D vignettes
- Collaborate with development & narrative teams on storyboarding and animatics
- Support the Animation and Design teams on gameplay scene pre-visualization
- Design and build multimedia presentations in PowerPoint for both development and company meetings
- Work with social media teams communicating within our social media platforms on development and studio updates
- Work with our tech teams to provide feedback and development of better media and capture tools
- Collaborate with the Activision media teams and external experts in both technical support and creative feedback to create exciting trailers that promote the game
Qualifications:
- Video experience and a degree in Film, Digital Media, or related field
- Has a strong desire to grow and learn new skills through training, mentoring, and experimenting on the job.
- Expert in video editing and motion graphics suites, such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience with audio design and editing.
- Experience with PowerPoint and a willingness to dig deep into its creative capabilities.
- Good knowledge of game development and working within the game engine to capture and create game play media assets
- Knowledge and love of our games.
- Must be able to provide demo reel/portfolio demonstrating video, motion design and post-production skills.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $26.83 - $49.63 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
