We are looking for a Multimedia Designer to work within our Community Management team to produce original and engaging content for our social media community channels across multiple games. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our social content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and be responsible for researching and turning fresh ideas into Social Media long and short videos, memes, images and stories. A deep interest in current social media trends and mobile gaming, along with strong video production & editing skills are required to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Create various forms of social media content - videos, shorts, reels and images - suitable for our social media channels on Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
- Support the Community Managers with the execution of each game’s social media strategy and creative content production
- Research, pitch and execute new social media content initiatives (eg developer interviews, feature spotlights, tutorials etc) in collaboration with community managers, game designers, artists and other creative teams
- Collaborate with the community, product and marketing teams to ensure that content is relevant to our audiences, generates positive sentiment and helps our channels maximize engagement & reach
- Ensure all content you create aligns with our games’ audiences & voice
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a similar role
- Strong level of video & image editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
- An understanding of motion graphics
- Skills in filmmaking and videography
- General understanding of best practices, technical requirements, and specs for developing content for social media channels (image formats, video codecs et al)
- Deep knowledge of social media platform trends (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter)
- Proficient English Level (written and spoken)
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including community managers, game developers and marketing professionals
- A passion for mobile games, movies, graphic novels, fantasy, science fiction, and other elements of pop culture
Bonus points
- Experience creating social media content and videos for the mobile gaming industry
- Comfortable appearing on-camera for video content including TikToks, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Basic familiarity with game design engines (eg Unity), design tools, and how to repurpose game assets for community & marketing design
- Basic understanding (or willingness to learn) 3D software like Blender
