MOTION GRAPHICS PRODUCER
Blizzard Video is the internal creative production arm of the Story & Franchise Development team. We exist to engage, inform, and activate the global Blizzard community through the creation of epic video content.
Blizzard Video is looking for a talented Motion Graphics Producer who is highly organized with outstanding communication and project management skills.
As a Motion Graphics Producer, you will work closely with artists, directors, and producers to ensure our growing demand for motion content is delivered on schedule and at the highest quality.
You will be working in a cohesive team environment that is focused on tight schedules, creative problem solving, and, of course, meeting the challenge of continually helping the team elevate their game.
This role is anticipated to be assigned as a hybrid work model position, with some on-site work at an Activision Blizzard office and some remote work.
Responsibilities
- Attend project kickoffs (both client-facing and internal).
- Communicate new and upcoming projects to the MGFX team.
- Coordinate with the production and directorial team to assess project scope and develop/track project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Vocalize potential production issues when scope exceeds available time or budget
- Work closely with MGFX lead on project delegation to keep on budget/schedule while still creating growth/experimentation opportunities.
- Generate bids for motion graphics work based on creative direction and/or requested MGFX tasks.
- Collaborate with artists, directors, and MGFX lead to ensure alignment on creative direction for projects.
- Work with assigned artist(s) and project producer to identify and procure any assets needed for production.
- Provide milestones and prioritize projects and tasks so artists understand the daily/weekly expectations.
- Help maintain workload distribution across the MGFX team and assist with setting task priority across multiple projects.
- QC graphics content to ensure picture-locked videos are free of any errors or oversights.
- Help identify opportunities for improved workflow and communication/organization structure within the GFX team.
- Track, document, and communicate any new protocols or delivery standards that impact the MGFX team.
- Coordinate with vendors for outsourced graphic (when needed).
- Process SOW's and submit for iProc invoice processing.
- Coordinate with legal team regarding copyrights needed on trailers.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 Years relevant experience, preferably within a trailer or promotional content environment
- Demonstrated experience working with motion graphics and post-production workflows (2d/3d design and animation / composting).
- Experience generating production bids/budgets

- Impeccable organizational and time-management abilities and able to inspire this in others.
- Self-starting with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with few to no errors or dropped details.
- Exceptional attention to detail as well as the ability to understand the big picture.
- Able to maximize all resources, actively and constantly seeking efficiencies.
- Must be able to work remotely and communicate with the team electronically.
- Excellent teamwork skills with ability to maintain strong individual contributions.
Pluses
- Basic knowledge of standard motion graphics software and tools.
- Leadership and/or management experience
