As a Motion Designer / Video Editor for User Acquisition (Marketing), you will work under the supervision of the Motion Design Lead and as part of the Creative Services team. You will use your experience as well as knowledge to ideate and create top-tier video ads using 2D and 3D assets while providing your technical and design expertise to the overall team.
What is the challenge for a Motion Designer at Ludia?
- Prepare design plans, concepts and layouts for User Acquisition ads, trailers and other motion graphics projects.
- Design and create enticing UA ads that convert.
- Design animated gameplay sequences.
- Work with Motion Design Lead to understand project scope and objectives.
- Maintain and promote high standards for project and asset management.
- Optimize and integrate assets.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Ensure compliance with licensor guidelines, deadlines and design standards.
- Execute feedback from the creative leads and customer groups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What do you need for the Motion Designer position?
- Degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Good knowledge Photoshop CS and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of 3DS Max or similar 3D software is a plus.
- Working experience as a video editor (Premiere), with an understanding of the discipline’s needs.
- Exceptional design skills.
- Solid understanding of art production processes.
- A team player, comfortable wearing many hats within a multidisciplinary group.
- Willing to accept and provide direction and handle multiple tasks.
- Committed independent and responsible worker.
- Strong time management skills and able to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and an ability to provide and receive constructive criticism.
- Bilingualism ENG/FR with a strong understanding of the English language.
